Comprehensive Zoning By-law Review
As part of a provincial funding program to support modernization for small and rural municipalities, the United Counties of SDG have retained the services of Re:Public Urbanism, a planning consulting firm, to undertake a review and update of the Comprehensive Zoning By-laws for the six municipalities in SDG.
The Township of South Stormont's existing Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 2011-100, is periodically updated with minor adjustments, however this process will incorporate a fulsome review and comprehensive update to the by-law to ensure that the public and business community have development regulations that reflect the current development trends and practices.
In order to assist the review process and ensure the wants and needs of the residents are considered in the development of a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law, we are seeking your preliminary input! Use the tools below to provide your comments/suggestions for the future Comprehensive Zoning By-law —what you would like to see remain or changed, ask questions from our Planning Department, and follow along with the process.
