DRAFT Nuisance By-law Available for Review and Public Commentary

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Council was presented with the results of the initial public survey for the Nuisance By-law Review as well as a DRAFT Nuisance By-law to consider.

The DRAFT By-law is now available for the public to review and provide commentary. Please visit our DRAFT By-law Forum to take a look at the proposed by-law and provide any feedback you would like to have considered prior to any decisions made about the adoption of the by-law.

A Public Open House has also been scheduled for Thursday, November 14th in South Stormont Council Chambers where residents can review the DRAFT By-law and proposed changes, speak with staff about the proposed by-law, and provide comments in-person.

There will be two Open House sessions on November 14th; an afternoon session will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and an evening session will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The public commentary from the online forum and the in-person Open House sessions will be shared with Council for consideration prior to any decision to adopt the new Nuisance By-law.
